Cradling the coast of southeast Queensland, Moreton Bay is a beautiful tapestry of islands, beaches, corals, rocky reefs and seagrass beds. But this precious bay is facing so much pressure - a booming population, coastal development, and increased boating and fishing.
Each year threatened turtles and dugongs are injured or killed from pollution, boat strike and marine debris within Moreton Bay Marine Park. The Save Moreton Bay project is a collaboration of key educators, advisors and community advocates who are working to turn this around.
